Corner:

Beware:
of callers or emails from people from abroad asking for money for an "emergency" even if they use the Bishop's name or someone from our Conference. These are most likely scams.

imagine no malaria
Nothing But Nets VS Imagine No Malaria

In 2006 the UMC joined the United Nations Foundation in the Nothing Buts Net campaign. The Northern Illinois Conference passionately joined the campaign and has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to distribute long lasting insecticide treated bed nets all over the continent of Africa. Thank you for your hard work!

In 2008 the UMC realized we need to grow beyond just supplying suffering families with bed net and began a more comprehensive program to fight malaria. That program is Imagine No Malaria (INM) - think of it is Nothing But Nets Plus.

As a conference that enthusiastically supported Nothing But Nets, I know we can reach of a goal of at least $1MM in pledges and donations by next World Malaria Day (April 25, 2014) for Imagine No Malaria. Click here to read more.

Will you consider the shift today from Nothing But Nets to Imagine No Malaria?

Donate today online  (please indicate that you are member of Northern Illinois Conference) or text "malaria NI" to 27722 to make a $10 donation (donation will be charged to your phone bill).
