Bishop Sally Dyck announces the following clergy appointments for the Northern Illinois Conference of The United Methodist Church, effective July 1, 2013 (unless otherwise noted):

 CLEAR OPENS 

 

   During the appointment making season the NIC Cabinet meets frequently. Due to the flow of appointment work it will not always be possible to post clear open essays each week. The weekly announcement of an appointment signals a clear open. If you wish to know more about an open appointment or offer yourself for consideration, you may contact the receiving District Superintendent by email, copying your current District Superintendent, with an indication of your interest.
  

Ouk Yean Kim Jueng (Full Eder) to Arlington Heights: First (Elgin District) from Rockford District Superintendent (Extension Ministry).  Ouk Yean follows Bonnie Beckonchrist who is moving to retired status from Arlington Heights: First.

 

Jon McCoy (Full Elder) to Hinsdale (Aurora District) from Chicago: St. Mark (Senior Pastor).  Jon will follow Carol Brown who is moving to retired status from Hinsdale.

Amy Poust (Full Elder) to Belvidere: First (Rockford District) as Senior Pastor, from Pecatonica (Rockford District).  Amy follows James Crone who is moving to retired status from Belvidere; First.

Allyson Talbert (Full Deacon) to an Appointment Beyond the Local Church from Transitional Leave.  Allyson has been appointed to the Young Men's Christian Association of the USA as a Meeting Planner, effective January 14, 2013.

Richard Wisdom (Full Elder) to Aurora District Superintendent from DeKalb District Superintendent (Extension Ministry).  Dick will follow Diana Facemyer who is moving to retired status from the Aurora District.

George Woosnam (Full Elder) to Princeton (DeKalb District) from Oregon (DeKalb District).  George follows Thomas Ostrander who is moving to retired status from Princeton.
