Gale Brandner (Full Elder) to Retirement from the Walnut UMC (DeKalb District). Gale has served in the conference since 1997 offering pastoral leadership to Pearl City: First/Zion, Mendota: Zion and Walnut.

Sharon Bullmer (Full Elder) to Retirement from the Ingleside UMC (Elgin District). Sharon has served in the conference since 1978 offering pastoral leadership to Wyanet, Aurora: Fourth Street, Leaf River/German Valley, Orangeville/Afolkey, Harvard: First and Ingleside.

Steven Bullmer (Full Elder) to Retirement from Crystal Lake UMC (Elgin District). Steve has served in the conference since 1975 offering pastoral leadership to Rochelle, St. Charles, Plainfield: Sharon, Polo: Emmanuel, Freeport: Trinity, Lean/Winslow/McConnell, Marengo and Crystal Lake.

Margaret Anne Crain (Full Deacon) to Retirement from an Appointment Beyond the Local Church to Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary where she has served since 1998, transferring to the Northern Illinois Conference in 1999.

James Crone (Full Elder)to Retirement from Belvidere (Rockford District). Jim came to Northern Illinois following his candidacy in the Central Illinois Conference as a probationary member in 1978. Jim served Chicago: Bethel, Freeport: Trinity, Rockford: Beth Eden, Ottawa: Epworth and Belvidere.

Diana Facemyer (Full Elder) to Retirement from Aurora District Superintendent. Diana was a probationary member of the New York Conference in 1973 and was ordained an Elder in the Northern Illinois Conference in 1978. She served as Admissions Counselor at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, Naperville: Community, Dakota-Rock Grove, Conference Program Staff, Glenview (co-pastor), Glen Ellyn: St. Thomas and Aurora District Superintendent.

Diane Gillham (Full Elder) to Retirement from Leave of Absence. Diane transferred to the Northern Illinois Conference from Oklahoma in 2000. Diane served on staff at Methodist Youth Services and offered pastoral leadership to Greenwood/Ringwood, Morris: First, Brookfield and Warren.

Jun Nam-Jin (Full Elder) to Retirement from Extension Ministry. Jun was ordained in 1995 and served Northbrook: Sharon Korean before accepting a position at the General Board of Global Ministries in 1997.

Thomas Ostrander (Full Elder) to Retirement from Princeton UMC (DeKalb District).   Tom became a member of the Northern Illinois Conference in 1973. He offered pastoral leadership to Libertyville: First, Elgin: First, Arlington Heights: Incarnation, Morris: First, Downers Grove: Frist and Princeton.

William Owen (Full Elder) to Retirement from Waukegan: First UMC (Elgin District). Bill became an Elder in 2001 having served in Esmond from 1993 to 2000. Bill also served Grayslake: United Protestant, Albany and Waukegan: First.

Jason Reed (Full Elder) to Retirement from Naperville: Wesley UMC (Aurora District). Jason became a member of the conference in 1976. During his ministry he served Hinsdale, the Wholistic Heath Center, LaGrange: First, Oak Forest: First and Naperville: Wesley.

Daniel Schenk (Full Elder) to Retirement from Morrison UMC (DeKalb District). Dan became a member of the conference in 1992. During his ministry Dan served at Scales Mound/Council Hill, Poplar Grove, Poplar Grove/Blain/Hunter Co-Active Ministry, Elgin: First, Galena/Elizabeth/Scales Mound and Morrison.

James Wilson (Full Elder) to Retirement from Barrington UMC (Elgin District). Jim became a member of the conference in 1972. During his ministry Jim served Elgin: Faith, Zion: Memorial, Joliet: Grace, DeKalb District as Superintendent and Barrington.
