ICNC Locating Funds for Damen Green Line Station
As the Kinzie Corridor companies know, ICNC has been a strong supporter and activist for the construction of a Damen Green Line station at Damen and Lake for many years. Recently, ICNC has moved the effort forward through a series of meetings with government officials and the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) to identify funding sources to bring the long-discussed Damen Green Line Station to fruition. For updates on the station progress or to assist with advocacy, contact Hannah Jones at [email protected].
Member Spotlight: Adam Siegel
Adam Siegel has been in the business of creating art for over 40 years. After graduating college, he applied for and received both an Illinois Arts Council Grant as well as a prestigious fellowship from the State of Illinois, launching his career in a dramatic fashion. He moved into the ICNC incubator because he wanted to be in a community where professionals were developing their business model and trying to reach a larger audience. He uses his space as a studio and showroom for his paintings and mixed media artwork.

Adam recently completed two projects with the Alinea Restaurant Group. One of his large paintings, titled "Boars Head", is in their new restaurant Roister. The other project, called The Progression, was an experimental restaurant that combined dining with art installations and was open for three weeks. He collaborated with Chef Grant Achatz, who gave him complete creative freedom to develop the art works for this project. Read more here.
