Taking the Mystery Out of Business Insurance

Webinar: Critical IT Security Protections

Employee Training Reimbursements Return to ICNC
ICNC has recently received funds through TIFWorks 50/50, an employee training reimbursement program issued by the City of Chicago. Funds will be available starting January 1, 2016. Applicants must be located within the Kinzie Industrial TIF boundaries. All training must be pre-approved by the city. New Online Member Directory!
ICNC has revamped its online member directory! You can search an extensive list of member companies on ICNC's website to find products and services to fit your company's needs. Directory profiles feature business descriptions, product photos, and member-to-member deals. If you are a member who would like to set up your directory profile to market your business, please refer to the email sent to you directly for step-by-step directions. Member Spotlight: Jarvis Corp.
Jarvis Corp. is a manufacturer of LED light fixtures in the ICNC Incubator. Owner Kirby Corkill started the business four years ago. He had a relative who is an electrician who could not find a good, cost-effective LED light, so he decided to build them himself. Jarvis Corp. focuses on production of high quality, cost-effective commercial lighting. They have a wide product line that serves many applications, including gas stations, parking lots, security lighting, and other industrial uses. They have recently launched a new top tier gas station canopy light, the CPL-400. Their products are designed to be simple and durable, providing the greatest value to their customers. 

Jarvis Corp. moved to the ICNC incubator in 2012. They started with 2,900 square feet and have grown to over 16,000 square feet. Moving into the incubator space allowed for increased production while maintaining strict quality controls. Click here to read more about their story.

Welcome New ICNC Staff
We would like to welcome Jennifer Holmes to the ICNC team. Jennifer will serve as the organization's first Director of Development. She has the responsibility of leading the organization's fundraising initiatives to build long-term, sustainable sources of funding so we can expand our programs and services in response to the needs of the companies. She joins the ICNC team with over 20 years of combined professional experience in higher education, corporate, and in the non-profit sectors.

Business Workshops: The Department of Business Affairs & Consumer Protection (BACP) offers workshops every Wednesday and Friday.
