Beware of Scam: Thefts During False Job Applications

An ICNC Member recently encountered a criminal scam in which the perpetrator enters a business asking to apply for a job.  When the front office staffer retrieves an application or is otherwise away from their desk, the perpetrator steals cell phones or other valuables and flees.  Please be aware of this possibility and advise your employees to keep a close watch on their valuables at all times.
