Membership Meeting on BRT - Thanks to All Who Attended
ICNC held a membership summit on the proposed Ashland
Avenue Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project last week. Attended by forty companies, the meeting gave a cross-section of the interests among ICNC Members affected by the proposal, and provided valuable input as to our efforts moving forward. Of particular concern are the lack of left turns and reduced traffic capacity in the current design proposal, which ICNC has been actively lobbying CTA to change.
ICNC continues its work relaying Member concerns into a workable transit solution, and we want to hear from you. To discuss the Bus Rapid Transit proposal and its potential impact, email Outreach Coordinator Ben Spies at ben@industrialcouncil.com
