Nella Phillips, radio personality, book reviewer and former Miss Vicki on WFAA-TV's Romper Room, will review the book "Will the Real Mr. Lincoln Please Stand Up?". This book was written by Christopher Oakley, a former Disney animator who makes a provocative discovery while studying photos taken during the Gettysburg Address. Please join us on

HELP A CHILD - SAVE A GENERATION

Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services (PCHAS) invites you to their annual luncheon on Thurs., Nov.12, 12:00-1:00p.m. at Royal  Oaks Country Club in Dallas. Transportation can be provided if needed.

OUTREACH VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Once again this year we will support the PCHAS Child and Family Program by delivering Thanksgiving turkey dinners to 11 local families in need. On Tues., Nov. 24, we will meet at BTPC at 9:30a.m., receive the food boxes, then deliver them to their homes. What a joyous opportunity to serve these families in God's name!. Please contact Steve Jebbia for details and sign up in the narthex this Sunday.

The BTPC Session is excited to implement this new outreach opportunity that focuses on volunteers from the congregation mentoring local school children in need during the school day. 
 
We are looking for members from BTPC that are willing to volunteer one hour a week to mentor one student throughout the school year.

ONLINE GIVING
 
Online Giving is designed for those who wish to give an offering to BTPC without the hassle of writing a check each time you give.  It also works for those who want to give but are either out of town or cannot attend worship.  It is available for pledged or non-pledged giving.

Thank you to all who prepared sack lunches for the homeless
 who are served by the Church Under the Bridge in Waco
and to Barb Kolle for organizing this mission.
Pray for the Youth of BTPC and Covenant Presbyterian Church, Sherman, who are serving meals and worshiping there. Pray also for safe travels.
