BTPC HEADER

Bentwood Trail e-News is a weekly newsletter of news and events within Bentwood Trail Presbyterian Church, Grace Presbytery and our community.

ONLINE GIVING IS HERE

Online Giving is designed for those who wish to give an offering to BTPC without the hassle of writing a check each time you give.  It also works for those who want to give but are either out of town or cannot attend worship.  It is available for pledged or non-pledged giving.

SPUDS, SALADS AND SMILES
SPUDS, SALADS & SMILES

Former FBI Agent, David Leopard, will inform us about how to protect ourselves from Identity theft. He will tell us how to protect our SSN, Internet use, mail, checks, even our trash and what to do if we become a victim. Please join us for Spuds on Aug.12, at 11:30am for lunch, fellowship and this informative program.

KIDS HOPE USA

KIDS HOPE USA

Building caring relationships...

One CHILD. One HOUR.

One CHURCH. One SCHOOL.

The BTPC Session is excited to implement this new outreach opportunity that focuses on volunteers from the congregation mentoring local school children in need during the school day. KIDS HOPE USA Regional Executive Director for Texas, Lisa Cook, will be at BTPC during worship on August 16 to discuss this program.   She will share during the Moment for Mission and answer questions during a short informational session immediately following worship service.

We are looking for members from BTPC that are willing to volunteer one hour a week to mentor one student throughout the school year.

For more information about this exciting program, click below links and see bulletin board in narthex. Together we, Bentwood Trail, can make a difference in the lives of children!

THANKSGIVING - GRATITUDE

GIVE THANKS - GRATEFUL - THANKS

Thank You

Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services as well as myself would like to thank the congregation of Bentwood Trail Presbyterian Church for your support of the program. Without this partnership the Child and Family Program could not be successful.

I am thankful to be placed in such a welcoming church home
that allows me the opportunity to do what I love most which is helping children and families grow and to have a future with hope.
Without Bentwood Trail none of this would be possible! Thank you!

With love and gratitude,

 Jennifer McCallum
