 THANKSGIVING - GRATITUDE GIVE THANKS - GRATEFUL - THANKS | |
I was able to complete my Eagle Project for the church on Saturday 7-12. I want to thank everyone who supported me with prayers and contributions of time and money. I could not have done what I did without your continuing support and encouragement. My plan was to complete the project in one day and thanks to family, friends, scouts and church volunteers we were able to have it completely finished with ten hours of hard work and sweat, food, fellowship, and fun! Thanks to all of that work, you now have a prayer labyrinth to be used by the church members, and anyone else, who would like to take some time for prayer and meditation or just relaxing and reflection. If you haven't seen the completed project, please take a moment to go by. It's located right behind the Youth House next to Dealy Hall. There will be some added improvements as time permits. The plan is to add a couple of benches for relaxing in the shade, a nice lattice fence to cover the AC units and utility connections, and a stepping stone path from the sidewalk and maybe the parking lot to the labyrinth. The area around the labyrinth will also be spruced up with some landscaping projects during future work days. Thank you again for all of your support and prayers.
With gratitude, Jason Head
(Write a note of thanksgiving on the
Attendance form for upcoming weeks)
