Come, join us for a unique worship experience as the Mission Trip Team shares their experiences from New Orleans, on Sun., July 6, 10:30a.m. Casual dress, including flip-flop sandals, are encouraged.

 

STEWARDSHIP COMMUNION SUNDAY

On July 6, please bring items needed for the homeless in Dallas, handed out by the Stew Pot Ministries of First Presbyterian Church, Dallas. Items requested:

Deodorant

Sunscreen

Disposable Razors

Shave Gel

                           Baseball Caps

Volunteer for Stewpot Meal Service, August 30, 11:30-1:00.

Join us on Wednesday, July 9, 11:30a.m. for fellowship, food and storytelling. Gwen Teller is our guest speaker this month. Gwen is a talented and professional story teller. In 1992, Gwen founded the Richardson/Plano Storytelling Guild, now known as the North Forty Storytellers, an affiliate of the Tejas Storytelling Association. She presented on stage at several Tejas Storytelling Festivals, has been featured at corporate programs, and educational leadership workshops. Gwen will be sharing with us "All stories are true, and some really happened". Come join us and bring a friend.

"CHAIR" YOGA
Each Thursday morning,10:00-11:00 a.m., certified yoga instructor, Tona Jebbia, leads a "chair yoga" class in Prichard Hall. The class consists of exercises for stretching and flexibility done while seated or standing next to a chair as capability allows. Those attending can advance at their own pace. There is no fee and those participating are asked to wear loose fitting clothing. If you have questions please call Tona.
 
CREATIVE ARTS CORNER
Creativity and Fellowship are enjoyed by all who attend Creative Arts Corner. This group meets

each Friday morning, 10:00 a.m. - noon

in Prichard Hall. Come and improve your painting skills or bring along your knitting, crocheting or needlepoint. For more information please call Joan Lathen, 214-570-8115.

BTPC has a new website!  It is still a work in progress but we hope you will visit and find plenty of useful information.  There is a "Members" section for our BTPC family.  We encourage you to register, so you can use the features of this section.  Here you will find photo albums, birthdays and anniversaries, a place to make and read prayer requests, the member directory and much more.  Please follow these instructions to receive your login information:

2. Click on "Register Here" at the top of the page.

3. Fill out your name, address, phone, and email (you don't need to enter all of that other info)

4. Enter the verification code at the bottom

5. Click "Submit"

6.  Within 24 hours you should receive your login information and you can enjoy all of the member features.
