Bentwood Trail e-News is a weekly newsletter of news and events within Bentwood Trail Presbyterian Church, Grace Presbytery and our community.

STEWARDSHIP COMMUNION SUNDAY
FishBank

This Sunday, on April 6, please bring your filled fish banks, with your name on them, to place on the chancel steps during Communion. Fish Banks (available on narthex table) support One Great Hour of Sharing, a PC(USA) special offering that is divided between Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, Self-Development of People Program and the Presbyterian Hunger Program.

   

EASTER LILIES

To provide a lily in honor of, or in memory of a friend or loved one, please fill out the form and put it in the offering plate with your check made payable to the church. For each $12 lily purchased, $3.35 will be donated to Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services. Orders collected through April 6.

 

PROPERTIES WORK DAY
Work day

This Sunday, April 6, 11:45 a.m. after the worship service we will have joint work day with our friends from the Lighthouse Brazilian Church helping us to spruce up the church for Holy Week. Come and enjoy the fellowship. Lunch will be provided.

 

FILLED EASTER EGGS NEEDED
EASTER EGGS


For our Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt, we need your donations of plastic prefilled eggs, wrapped candies, stickers (young child appropriate), or money to purchase these. Please deliver them to the church by Sunday, April 6.

   

SPUDS, SALADS AND SMILES
Once again, thank you for your generous donations, we have potatoes again!
On April 9, 11:30 a.m. we will hear from 911Wildlife.  Some of you have heard them talk about the raccoons and other wildlife living in the suburbs, and the birds of our region.This time Bonnie Bradshaw will be telling us about  "Butterfly Gardening made Easy"

CREATIVE ARTS CORNER
Creativity and Fellowship are enjoyed by all who attend Creative Arts Corner. This group meets

each Friday morning, 10:00 a.m. - noon

BTPC has a new website!  It is still a work in progress but we hope you will visit and find plenty of useful information.  There is a "Members" section for our BTPC family.  We encourage you to register, so you can use the features of this section.  Here you will find photo albums, birthdays and anniversaries, a place to make and read prayer requests, the member directory and much more.  Please follow these instructions to receive your login information:

 

1. Go to www.bentwoodtrail.org

2. Click on "Register Here" at the top of the page.

3. Fill out your name, address, phone, and email (you don't need to enter all of that other info)

4. Enter the verification code at the bottom

5. Click "Submit"

6.  Within 24 hours you should receive your login information and you can enjoy all of the member features.
