Goddess Workshop & Tea

Rev. Marilyn led the workshop on "The Nature of the Goddess." Lynda Ellis and Lyn Wandell helped create an amazing array of delicious goodies for a health conscious tea menu (no white flour or sugar - dark chocolate doesn't count).

 

Delicacies included chocolate covered strawberries, dates with cream cheese & roasted cashews, fresh nectarines, tuna won ton, herbal lemonade and mint tea. It was a relaxing afternoon to explore Goddess figures in world culture and to see how their stories apply to our own lives.

 

FATHER'S DAY - Sunday June 15th is the day we honor our Dad's, and all they have contributed to our lives. Rev. Will Castagna and his son, Liam will present the morning talk, and everyone is invited to go out to lunch at a nearby restaurant.

June Book of the Month: "Grow Younger, Live Longer" by Deepak Chopra - This book gives wonderful ways to stay vigorous regardless of our calendar years. Let's read it together.

 

 

 

YOGA with Yoga Master, Dana Karpain. Try this gentle, meditative Yoga for the Peaceful Self Sunday May 25th Cost is $15 per class or $44 for a series of 4 (or contribute what you can). Dana will be available all afternoon to provide short sessions on quick, gentle stretches to use at home or office.
