Driving home from Santa Barbara, I found myself smiling as I was driving in the rain. What a beautiful sight, RAIN three days in a row!

If God ever answers prayer, God always answers prayer. Hearing the rain on the roof two nights in a row, I have never felt so soothed by nor so grateful for the sound of steady RAIN.  

My appreciate goes beyond an Attitude of Gratitude to an actual Gratitude Practice. Writing thanks in my journal and praying thanks out loud for the miracle of rain seems the right response for the gift of RAIN.

Give Thanks for Rain & Save MORE WATER!!!

While the State of California and the Lake Casitas Water District asks us for only a 20% reduction in water use, the real need is much closer to 50%. With the Lake at 60% capacity and the Snow Pack only 12% of normal, we all need to do better. Think of a day without water, and you will quickly realize we all need to be serious about conserving water.

Much appreciation to Robert Wells who is sharing his mystical flute music each Sunday before and after 10 a.m. Meditation. Robert majored in music at Fresno State and played the clarinet. He moved to Laguna Beach in the 70's and began studying the flute. We are so grateful to him for the way he sets the mood for meditation.
