On Sun. Jan. 26th, we voted unanimously to affiliate with the Centers for Spiritual Living worldwide and be called Center for Spiritual Living, Ojai.
SAVE WATER - PRAY FOR RAIN
New Community Service Project **
The Ojai Valley uses 125 million of gallons of water DAILY. We can all conserve water while praying for rain.
PRIORITY TIPS: USE LESS WATER
We have experienced only 12% of normal snowpack in California so far this year.
- Use left over water from dishes to water plants.
- Use water saving spray faucets throughout your house.
We have no outside water source as many other Southern California communities do. Underground wells and Lake Casitas is all we have. All are dangerously low and many wells are dry. We all must work to conserve water.
PRAYER FOR RAIN
There is an Infinite Presence, a GREAT Universal Intelligence. It is within me, within all people and within all of nature.
I speak my work knowing that the rain we need is the rain we receive now, a gentle steady rain that nurtures the earth, its people and crops.
I given thanks for the rain and for the great diligence all residents of the Ojai Valley take to conserve water. I give thanks for our needs being met with attention to wise conservation.
I release these words unto the universal flow knowing the Divine Plan of FREEDOM is always in operation. And so it is!
