NEW NAME for Symphony of Life
On Sun. Jan. 26th, 34 people attended the Annual meeting held at the Ojai Retreat. We voted unanimously to affiliate with the Centers for Spiritual Living worldwide.
LAST Issue As Symphony of Life. We are joining with 450 other centers, communities and ministries in 30 countries. There are new benefits to members and our Science of Mind classes will now be accredited. Anyone desiring to become a licensed Science Of Mind Practitioner (Prayer Counselor) can do so.
Center for Spiritual Living Ojai is our new name. Our Spiritual Center is growing. Our Center is unfolding with a spirit of light and love to welcome more people and opportunities. Plus we have a great opportunity to serve the whole Ojai Valley with our new Community Service Project.**
Rev. Marilyn Miller Becomes Senior Minister. Her status as our Interim Minister has changed. At Sunday's annual meeting she was ratified as the new Sr. Minister.

Terry Royce & Tiffany Cole Elected to Leadership Council. Terry recently served as the Chairperson for the Music Festival Home Look In Tour.
Terry was a sales and marketing representative for Pitney Bowes for 24 years. She has attended several Science of Mind churches and looks forward to contributing to our Center for Spiritual Living.
Tiffany is a professional actor, grant writer and full time Mom to Sebastian. Both bring a wealth of non-profit service experience. We are so grateful for their willingness to serve.
Rev. Geri, Youth Minister, had a full house in the Waterfall Garden at the Ojai Retreat. Thank you Rev. Geri for your beautiful, creative service to our youth. Do you have friends with children 4 - 11 years old? They would love it here!!!
SAVE WATER - PRAY FOR RAIN
New Community Service Project **
The Bishop of the Catholic Church has asked all California Catholics to pray for rain. Gov. Jerry Brown has declared a State of Emergency due to draught conditions. The Ojai Valley News reports the Ojai Valley uses 25 Million Gallons of water daily?
We have a great opportunity to serve the whole Ojai Valley with our community-wide water conservation project. We plan to help many find ways to conserve water by enlisting the support of other faith communities to participate in our Save Water - Prayer for Rain Campaign. An easy way to start...
- Use a half cup of water to brush your teeth, instead of letting water run, wasting a half gallon or more.
- Use a large bowl to rinse dishes in the sink, instead of letting water run.
- Treat water as if it is precious - not in infinite supply.
