Happy Birthday Ernest

Dr. Holmes' birthday is Tues. Jan. 21st. He was born at the end of the 19th century and was entirely self- educated. At the end of his life, he had been awarded over 70 honorary doctorate degrees for his body of work, the teachings of the Science of Mind. There are now over 450 centers. communities and ministries in 30 countries, and classes available on line worldwide.

Sunday Jan. 26th 10 a.m. Outdoor Walking Meditation on Retreat's beautiful 5-acre grounds.

Sunday Celebration Service 10:30 a.m. - Main Conference Room. 11:45 Pot Luck & Annual Meeting. Bring Salad or Main Dish & Serving spoons to Share (room temperature; no heating available).

Directions: From downtown Ojai, travel west on Ojai Ave. to Vons intersection; turn right. Turn left at El Robar stop sign. Go to Lomita, turn left (pass Mainers Oaks Elementary school on left). Turn left at small street (looks like a driveway) - just before the Ranch House Restaurant. Small sign on Street says OJAI RETREAT.

Continue straight up the winding road to top of hill at the very end you'll drive into the Ojai Retreat driveway. Parking on your left; Conference room on your right up the stairs past the Office. No child care this Sunday.

Joyce Huntington's Show at Bohemia Coffee Shop was wonderful. She had many new large works and many prints as well. Members of our center had fun visiting with her and enjoying the wine and treats available too. Catch Joyce and her inspired artwork everyday at FRAMEWORKS of OJAI in the area behind Ojai Business Center & Jim & Rob's Restaurant.
