HAIL TO THE CHIEFS - Stellar Presidents of our Board of Trustees
Serving as President of the Board requires leadership skills plus patience and love. Rev. Will Castagna has served several terms as President and continues to serve as an Advisor to our Board. Rev. Will is our "Go To" guy in many situations where his expertise and leadership have proven invaluable. We admire, love and appreciate him and his loving service.
Tessie Goddard, who has served as Board President, is the current Captain of the Creativity Team. She has created many extraordinary events at the Symphony of Life. She has given tirelessly of her brilliant creativity, expertise and joy to make our Spiritual Community welcoming to all. Tessie was the backbone of the Tea and Silent Auction providing leadership guidance at every step of the way. She generously donated all of the wine and was the source of many of the wonderful gifts available in the Auction.
Rev. Susan Burrell has also served as Board President and now is serving on our Ministerial Team guiding the Education Department. This important job is very familiar to her, as she has served many churches in this capacity by teaching classes and training Prayer Practitioners. We are very fortunate to have her talent and spiritual leadership. Rev. Susan has her own radio show on KVTA every Sunday. (Information below).
"Long Live our Gracious Queen," Sherry Owen.
Sherry has flown so many miles (in her lifetime) to be at this time - in this place to so brilliantly portray the reigning monarch of our High Tea.
AND Special thanks go to her Royal Chauffeur, Ramanda and to Cindy Wright who helped to sew the Royal Attire. The Queen was accompanied by members of her Royal household, the Royal Nanny (Candace Hull), Prince George and The Duchess of Cambridge, (Nicole Pelitier).
GRATITUDE TO SILENT AUCTION DONORS
With heartfelt gratitude, we thank everyone in our spiritual community who participated in our High Tea and Silent Auction.
At the event, we experienced an abundance of talent in performance, culinary arts, graphic design, planning & implementation skills, set up and clean up and most of all extra generous giving of items for Silent Auction.
Our entire Symphony of Life Spiritual Community participated, created, donated and enjoyed. What a great 17th Anniversary Celebration. We give deep thanks to the Board Members, Past Presidents and Ministers.
We are grateful to members of the Creativity Team and the Special Event Team including Captain Tessie Goddard, Rev. Susan Burrell, Randee Vasilakos, Terry Royce, Maria Tesoro and Gretchen Bell, plus one of our favorite chefs, Donna Elam.
