We had a fabulous All Faiths Easter Celebration and Brunch this past Sunday! If you were there, thank you for contributing to the wonderful positive energy in our sanctuary. As St. Catherine suggests, we were "on fire."
This Sunday, as part of Ojai's Wordfest Literary Festival, the Symphony of Life Spiritual Center is hosting "Divine Love Wisdom:" Readings from Sacred Traditions & Metaphysical Teachings. Comprehending Divine Love with a finite mind is a challenge. You are invited to enjoy performed readings which are intended to deepen our understanding of the ocean of Divine Love available to flow through us when we are open to receive it. The actors are directed by Rev. Marilyn Miller. Please join us as we collectively deepen our understanding and awareness of the nature of the Infinite Love of God.
Our Authentic Self is made in the very image and likeness of God, our Source and Supply, and we are meant to shine as Its individualized expression. As we move into this beautiful springtime of renewal and rebirth, I invite us to take a collective leap into our own luminosity and magnificence!

"Shortcut to a Miracle" Workshop Right after the service this Sunday, April 7, Rev. Marilyn Miller will be presenting a workshop entitled "Shortcut to a Miracle." In the workshop you will enjoy learning how to write affirmations and mystical prayers that work. This workshop is offered on a love donation basis.
 Symphony of Life Book Club Our Symphony of Life Book Club will be meeting on Friday, April 12, at 7:00 p.m. We will be discussing our current book selection, Flight Behavior, by Barbara Kingsolver, and choosing a new book for the month of May. You are welcome to join in at any time. If you like to read and are interested in having a stimulating conversation about the books you read, you'll enjoy this group. Old-Fashioned Homemade Bake Sale On Sunday, April 14, the Symphony of Life will be having an old-fashioned homemade bake sale right after service on the sidewalk in front of the Woman's Center. Please bring your very special homemade cakes, pies, cookies, brownies, etc. All proceeds will go to the Symphony of Life Spiritual Center. Symphony of Life First Annual Spring Dance and Talent Show Save the date! It's Saturday, May 18, 2013, 7:30 to 11:00 PM. The Symphony of Life is having its First Annual Spring Dance and Talent Show complete with live music (a great band)! Get down with SOL (Soul)! There will be a raffle, refreshments, lots of fun, joy and creativity. It will be held at the Ojai Woman's Center, 441 E. Ojai Avenue, Admission: $15. Regarding our Talent Show, this is your opportunity to show us what you've got! This event is a fund-raiser for the Symphony of Life. Everyone is welcome!
The Dates Have Changed! Mystical Mediterranean Odyssey July 25 - August 3, 2013 Join Rev. Karen on an amazing Mystical Mediterranean Odyssey from Istanbul, Turkey to the holy city of Rome, Italy, cities filled with architectural wonders and monuments to the faiths that inspired them. There will be morning and evening meditations, led by Rev. Karen throughout the voyage. As we go back in time, we will take our own personal inward journey in discovery of the mystical in us.
