EASTER CELEBRATION AND BRUNCH

Please join us this Sunday for our All Faiths Easter Celebration and Brunch! The brunch will be right after service in the sanctuary. Bring your favorite side dish or salad to share, and bring your family and friends. We will furnish the main dish. We look forward to seeing you on this special day! In addition, we are expecting a visit from the Easter Bunny!

 

SPIRITUAL CINEMA

Our Symphony of Life spiritual cinema will feature the award-winning documentary, The Blue Jewel, this Friday, March 29, at Casa de la Luna Retreat Center, 710 S. La Luna Avenue, here in Ojai. The Blue Jewel is a beautifully photographed film about our precious planet, "the blue jewel," which carries a somewhat startling message: The Earth loves humanity. German filmmaker Oliver Hauck asked the question, "What would our Earth be like if man would understand that he and the Earth are one? That we humans are made of the same material as a volcano or a rainbow and that the Earth's pulse beats to the rhythm of our own?" Doors open at 6:30 and the movie begins at 7:00 p.m. The event is by donation ($5-10 suggested, although no one is turned away for lack of funds).

 

WORDFEST SOUL SUNDAY

In cooperation with the Third Annual Ojai Wordfest Literary Festival, on Sunday, April 7, the Symphony of Life Spiritual Center will be presenting "Divine Love Wisdom" readings from sacred world traditions and metaphysical teachings. Dive deep into the ocean of Divine love that surrounds and indwells us.

 

"SHORTCUT TO A MIRACLE" WORKSHOP

Also on April 7, from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at the Symphony of Life, prosperity teacher Rev. Marilyn Miller will be presenting a workshop entitled "Shortcut to a Miracle." Enjoy learning how to write affirmations and mystical prayers that work. This workshop is provided on a love offering basis.

 

SYMPHONY OF LIFE BOOK CLUB

Our book club will be meeting on Friday, April 12, at 7:00 p.m. to discuss our current book and to choose our book selection for the month of May. You are welcome to join the club at any time. Contact Peggie Williamson, (805) 640-2450 for more information.

SYMPHONY OF LIFE IS HAVING AN OLD-FASHIONED BAKE SALE!

On Sunday, April 14, bring your very special homemade cakes, pies, cookies, brownies, etc. for our old-fashioned bake sale. It will be right after service on the sidewalk in front of the Woman's Center. All proceeds go to the Symphony of Life Spiritual Center.
