Greetings Beloveds! I welcome you to this new day and a new life! Each and every day, we are being born again. As Kabir points out, we have to get below the turbulence of our daily life to experience all that is wonderful and glorious. There is a peace and beauty in the stillness and great love.....more than we can even begin to imagine. When we move into that inner sanctuary of quietude, we discover the vastness of all possibility and the Pearl of great price! It cannot be found in the surface disturbances.........only in the great ocean of devotional love within each of us.
Join us this Sunday as we move into the holy days of Easter. We will explore the crucifixion and resurrection of the great one, Jesus, from a metaphysical perspective. In the meantime, just know the power of the love that resides within you. When you awaken to that, you shall be an amazing force for good on this planet.
Our affirmation for the day: I am Love, and I rest now in all that I am as a Divine Being of Light!

All Faiths Easter Celebration and Brunch Please join us on Easter Sunday, March 31, for our All Faiths Easter Celebration and Brunch. The brunch will be right after service in the sanctuary. Bring your favorite side dish or salad to share. We will furnish the turkey or meat dish. We look forward to seeing you on this special day! We are expecting a special visit from the Easter Bunny!  Old Fashioned Bake Sale on Sunday, April 14! We are having an old fashioned bake sale on the sidewalk right outside the doors of the Symphony of Life on Sunday, April 14. It will be immediately following our service. All the bake goods will be homemade and delicious! Please join us for this special old fashioned treat! Spiritual Cinema, March 29 Our spiritual cinema will feature the award-winning documentary, The Blue Jewel, on Friday, March 29, at Casa de la Luna Retreat Center. The Blue Jewel is a beautifully photographed film about our precious planet, "the blue jewel," which carries a somewhat startling message: The Earth loves humanity. German filmmaker Oliver Hauck asked the question, "What would our Earth be like if man would understand that he and the Earth are one? That we humans are made of the same material as a volcano or a rainbow and that the Earth's pulse beats to the rhythm of our own?" The Blue Jewel has won numerous awards at international film festivals such as the World Interfaith Harmony Film Festival in Los Angeles and the 2012 Cosmic Cine Audience Award. Doors open at 6:30 and the movie begins at 7:00 p.m. The event is by donation ($5-10 suggested although no one is turned away for lack of funds). A discussion will follow the screening. Casa de la Luna generously opens its doors for these community screenings and is located at 710 S. La Luna Avenue, here in Ojai. Symphony of Life Book Club The next meeting of the Symphony of Life Book Club is Friday, April 12, at 7:00 p.m. We will be discussing our current book selection, Flight Behavior, by Barbara Kingsolver, and choosing a new book for the month of May. You are welcome to join in at any time. If you like to read and are interested in having a stimulating conversation about the books you read, you'll enjoy this group. Dessert is served during the meeting. Contact Peggie Williamson, (805) 640-2450 for more information and location of our next meeting.  Mystical Mediterranean Odyssey June 27 - July 6, 2013 Join Rev. Karen on an amazing Mystical Mediterranean Odyssey from the holy city of Rome, Italy to Istanbul, Turkey, cities filled with architectural wonders and monuments to the faiths that inspired them. There will be morning and evening meditations, led by Rev. Karen throughout the voyage. As we go back in time, we will take our own personal inward journey in discovery of the mystical in us.
