There is a great call now for us to discover our own holiness. Jesus was our great example. That is why we speak of him 2000 plus years later. When we understand the Divine Light within us and align with it as he did, we touch and experience that holiness. We can understand why he would say "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." (Mark 12:31)

Most of us have experienced it at one time or another--an opening of the heart--a complete yielding into something greater that created a feeling within us of absolute incredible beauty. We might have felt it while witnessing something breathtaking in nature, or at the birth of a baby or in the ecstasy of making love. That is the experience of living in Oneness.

A greater and greater expression of that feeling of oneness is being birthed on the planet right now. Its power is exponential. It can allay all our fears. It can lead us and show us the way to individual and universal peace and harmony. When we experience our own holiness, we are suddenly able to listen and hear what is being said and there is a desire within to reach an understanding. We find our similarities and gravitate to what is the same about us.

The great transformation that is happening in this world right now begins within our soul. There is nothing to fix outside of us. We are here to discover our own nature as Love Itself. This can be the year we come home to the Self. It will be the best year of our lives when we finally discover that what we've been seeking outside of ourselves has been here all along.

It's 2013 and I bless you and say "Welcome Home!"

The Symphony of Life Interfaith Candlelight Service

The Symphony of Life is also going Christmas caroling during the evening on Sunday, December 23, 2012. All singers welcome! There is no audition.....you will not be turned down even if you think you can't hold a tune. We will begin the evening at 5:00 p.m. at The Gables of Ojai and will be walking from there to the Los Robles Care Center. We will be having dinner together afterward at a local restaurant. Put the date on your calendar! It is always so much fun to share songs, joy, love and laughter!

Sunday Service 

Below are some pictures from last Sunday's service.  We appreciated our beautiful greeter for the day, Joyce Stanek.  Renee Mandala gave us our announcements, sang with Patricia Cardinali and served in prayer after service.  Alexis Eldridge did a reading from her book, Conversations with Jesus, and Justine Wynn made an announcement about the Holiday Basket Brigade.  You can see that we had a full and happy house!

Science of Mind Classes Starting in January 2013

We will be offering three Science of Mind classes in January. Everyone longs to know his or her place in the universe and desires to live a meaningful, productive life. Our classes offer instruction to impact every area of living through the use of valuable spiritual tools. Their use leads to healthy relationships, prosperous living, wise choices and the power to change unwanted conditions. Explore your unique creativity, spiritual awareness and power in a loving, supportive group. These classes begin the week of January 8, 2013. Tuition is $200 per class.

The three classes are "Tools for Spiritual Living," which is the prerequisite 10-week class for the other two classes being offered this January. It is the foundation class for Science of Mind presenting the basics of metaphysics to deepen spiritual awareness and provide powerful spiritual tools for creating the life you want to live.  

The second class "The Power of Your Word" is an 8-week class which reveals the power of our word spoken in prayer. It teaches a specific method to create affirmative prayers to change unwanted conditions to create the positive results you desire.

The third class is "Self Mastery," an 8-week class which teaches powerful ways of shifting awareness and behavior from the material to the spiritual level while discarding limiting beliefs and increasing your ability to use spiritual power.

These classes will be taught by either Rev. Karen Wylie or Rev. Marilyn Miller depending upon the number of students who sign up.

We are so grateful for our children and the facilitators that serve in our Youth Program.  They are Brian Pavelko, Rev. Will Castagna, Lisa Love, Chris Prideaux, and Candace Hull.

Mystical Mediterranean Odyssey

June 27 - July 6, 2013

Join Rev. Karen on an amazing Mystical Mediterranean Odyssey from the holy city of Rome, Italy to Istanbul, Turkey, cities filled with architectural wonders and monuments to the faiths that inspired them. There will be morning and evening meditations, led by Rev. Karen throughout the voyage. As we go back in time, we will take our own personal inward journey in discovery of the mystical in us.
