Come and see how Stratford welcomes spring. It’s unique, a little quirky yet charming, too. Our feisty white feathered swans are released from their winter quarters the first Sunday in April and parade (see for yourself in the video clip!) to the Avon River. We’ve planned a whole weekend of family fun for you! Stratford knows how to celebrate spring. See you in Stratford on April 6 & 7!

Stratford loves swans so much that you’ll find them decorated and displayed throughout our Victorian downtown during this celebration weekend. The Great Parade… with puppets!
Commissioned just for Stratford, “The Great Parade” tells the story of a group of animals who, jealous of all the attention paid to the swans, want to create their own parade to garner some attention. These exquisite handmade puppets are accompanied by great music and professional voice actors of The Other Hand Puppet Troupe. On stage immediately after the swan parade it is a delightful way to finish the day and sure to impress the adults as well as the kids.
