Looking to make a late New Year’s resolution – why not become a great chef in 2013!
Savour Stratford presents The GE Café Chefs Series with 10 great Ontario chefs starting Sunday, January 13th with one of Stratford’s great chefs, Aaron Linley of Bijou.
It’s an engaging and fun chance to sharpen your culinary techniques as Aaron takes you into the kitchen and guides you through a hands-on class. Combine your love of food, the social interaction with other food lovers of wine and great conversation with one of Stratford’s leading chefs. The focus of the 3-hour class will be on how to create the perfect 4 course dinner party menu paired with Lailey Vineyard Wines.
The GE Café Chefs Series will feature 10 top chefs from Stratford, Toronto, Waterloo, Cambridge and Niagara from January to June. Each chef brings their own individual philosophy, skills and creative approaches – with some inside tips that will impress your circle of family and friends – to each session. With the focus on the hands-on, you will easily translate the experiences to your own kitchen and bring the recipes home with you. Think of it as tasty homework!
Classes are $75 per person (+ HST), or even better, register for three classes for $210 (+ HST) and really build up a cooking portfolio. Prices including beverages, food and take home recipes.
We can’t think of a better way to prepare for the upcoming summer bounty of local produce. Great menus really need great skills!
