Get a Lift to the Polls from HART!
Ride Free to the Polls with your Valid Voter Information Card

Getting to the polls this Election Day will be a little easier for Hillsborough County voters.

On Tuesday, November 4, Election Day, HART will offer free rides to customers with a valid voter information card. The card must be presented to the driver when boarding to receive the free ride.

"We're happy that HART is once again providing this great service to our community," said Craig Latimer, Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections. "And I want to remind voters to know where to go before planning their bus trip. On Election Day, voters must vote in the polling place listed on their current Voter Information Card."

"As a community partner, we take pride in doing our part to offer free bus service to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to vote and are pleased to be able to offer this service to Hillsborough County residents," said Katharine Eagan, HART Interim Chief Executive Officer.

Patrons who present their valid voter information card will ride free to their closest local polling location. Simply show your valid voter information card to the Bus Operator when boarding for your free ride.

Riders are encouraged to determine in advance which routes will get them to, or close to, their polling places. To plan an Election Day trip, you can use the Google Trip Planner feature on www.goHART.org.
