January Ridership Up 3.7%
HART Daily Ridership Continues to Rise

January marked another month of more than 1 million in bus ridership, as well as an increase in bus ridership of 3.7 percent over January 2012.
January 2013 bus ridership tallied at 1,249,812 compared to January 2012 bus ridership of 1,204,687.
HART continues a record steady level of growth by averaging a 3.8 percent increase in daily ridership. 13 out of 21 weekdays exceeded 50,000, representing an upswing in bus ridership for HART.
Fast facts:
- Express bus ridership was up 3.6 percent in January 2013 compared to the same month last year.
- HART's Paratransit service experienced an 11.9 percent increase. ADA Paratransit is a service offered to Hillsborough County residents with physical, cognitive, visual or other disabilities, who are unable to use HART's local fixed route service.
