 RE:  Uniform Adoption of Suffolk County Planning  

         Commission Model Geothermal Energy Code
 


 In November 2014, the Suffolk County Planning Commission (SCPC) sent the Suffolk County Planning Commission Model Uniform Geothermal Code to your municipality for your review and comments.


The Suffolk County Planning Commission, along with PSEG and LI-GEO, the trade group for geothermal energy contractors, will be holding a technical workshop for municipal officials designed to set up municipal adoption of the Suffolk County Planning Commission Uniform Geothermal Code.  

This meeting will be held on:

PSEG Long Island has committed to provide
implementation assistance of $10,000 to each township and $5,000 to the first ten villages with a population greater than 5,000 in Suffolk and Nassau that adopt the model geothermal code by March 31, 2015.
