Greetings!

Just got this news: Bookings have opened for next year's annual Paris-Istanbul extravaganza on the Venice-Simplon-Orient-Express.

The date is Aug. 29-Sept. 3, 2014.

Bookings for the equally iconic Istanbul-Venice Orient-Express tour also now are open. Dates are Sept. 5-10, 2014.

Prices:

$17,320 pp for cabin suite

$17,320 for sole use of a double

This year's Istanbul tours sold out over a year in advance; it looks like 2014 will bring sell-outs too.

Owen and I, with 28 other IRT travelers, celebrated our company's 20th anniversary on the Paris-Istanbul VSOE. It remains one of the top three train trips we've taken in our 30-year career.

Dazzling, Romantic, Unforgettable
The evaluations from 14 IRT members who just took this trip have been glowing:  "unforgettable," "romantic," "exciting" -- these are all words our travelers used to describe this journey.

Now it's your turn. If you've always wanted to take these larger-than-life trips, I urge you to contact us at once. I can guarantee you the spots will go fast.
