Providence Catholic Wrestling Team honored for 4th Place finish at State
(New Lenox)  Providence Catholic High School held an all-school assembly on Monday, February 29 in recognition of the Varsity Wrestling Team who
placed fourth in Class 3A division at the Illinois High School Association's (IHSA) State Wrestling Competition in Bloomington, Illinois on February 27.

During the all-school assembly, the wrestling team was awarded their State medals by Mr. Doug Ternik, Athletic Director.  Head Coach Keith Healy expressed his appreciation to everyone who supported the team.

"We are Back! It has been a long eight years since we [the wrestling team] won a state trophy.  We couldn't have done this without the support from all our fans, parents, PCHS staff and my assistant coaches. The team really came together and embraced the three points that we focused on this year, which were respect, responsibility and tradition. I am proud of these guys and how they ignited the fuse for a winning wrestling program.  I am also grateful that this team earned me my 500th career win," said Healy.
