2015 Sales Meeting and Awards Banquet

 

Suzie and I just got off the phone with Deanna Castello, Chief Marketing Officer at Proforma. We were discussing our plans for the 2015 Convention in Orlando. The convention registration site went live last week and there are already several hundred owners registered as well as 20 Proforma Albrecht attendees. This is an awesome start, but we would love to have all of our great sales executives come to this year's event.

The event is conveniently located in Orlando at the Beautiful Rosen Shingle Creek. We are planning our exclusive Proforma Albrecht education day for Sunday July 19th, starting at 1:00 PM. Please plan to arrive in time to get registered and be ready for the start of an educational week. We will have planned events throughout the day on Wednesday July 23rd with the Proforma farewell celebration starting at 6:00 PM. If you plan to leave before the farewell celebration, we suggest you not plan your flight for any earlier than 6:00 PM in order to be sure to be available to attend our Wednesday afternoon private networking session.

 

It is easy to register, this year we do not have a separate site. If you click through the sign up, you will be asked to fill out your basic information and then also sign up as a "new attendee." Where there is a "drop down" box as "attendee type," look for Albrecht sales rep.  You will find that the amount due comes up as ZERO, click net proceeds and check out. Hope that hint helps smooth out the process.

 

Note: once you have registered, be sure to also go out to the hotel site to register for the hotel. Do this NOW as rooms are going fast!

Rock 'N Roll

Lisa Taplin our marketing genius from Maine came up with the right "fashion trending" bag that matched her client's red and green theme. The order came to a total of 1744 B46 Fashion totes from K&R Precision ASI 63770 totaling over $9500.00.

 

Irv Russotto landed an order for 4368 #1701 caps from ASI 52326 Embroidery USA totaling over $7500.00 for his AAA client. What a way to start the summer. The client uses these as staff and safety patrol caps.

 

Lisbeth James helped out a friend who also happens to be a customer, a construction company. Her friend came up with the idea for a custom medallion for the front facade of one of the buildings he was completing. The results: Lisbeth found a supplier, Sign Works, to custom make the medallion. All in the project was worth just under $10,000.00.

 

Chan Williams of Faye B's Reminders is still working his EMC season with some more great results. One of his recent orders is for 1200 more custom chairs from Brentwood Line, The Sourcing Department, totaling close to $20,000.00. If you have not checked out the Brentwood line you should. They have both stock and custom products. More importantly, Chan sat down for dinner in Vegas and they worked out this custom chair concept. The chair is better than any on the market and unique to us, which means it makes it virtually impossible to "bid him out" on the same exact item. ASI 88245 888-777-3419

 

Chan's second order for the week is an order from one of our Star Suppliers of 2014, Phenix Direct, Stuart McClellend. 850 15 L Metal buckets, perfect for his EMC client to use as a meeting gift, I guarantee nobody throws away a metal bucket. Total order $9500.00. Again, a custom idea separated Chan from the rest of the competition.

 

Chris Bowles needed an upscale notebook and looked to our friends at Gemline, ASI 56070 for help. He came up with 300 40060 Moleskin Hard Cover ruled notebooks with a large custom moleskin band, total order over $7100.00. Someone finally found a use for a mole! Great project that made both Chris and his client look first class all the way.

 

Larry Cohen was challenged by his Siemen's division for awards for their top sales achievers. 15 years ago Larry presented the "Oscar" concept. He pointed out that when someone sees an Oscar, they know exactly what it represents. He created the EAGLE Award concept 15 years ago and just celebrated his 15th reorder, apparently the Eagle is now a coveted award recognized by the Siemen Employees as a symbol of success for only the elite. To make the item more special, each recipient gets a "romance card" featuring the biography of the guy who designed the actual award. So if you do not sell awards, maybe you should search out Larry and learn a little lesson in award programs. 25 awards worth close to $10,000.00. Larry, thanks for sharing the details of that sale!

Terry Schneider of Cincinnati. For those who may not know Terry, she came to us as a referral from Cindy Hite, it seems Cindy was her CSR (let's just say a while ago). She convinced Cindy to get into sales and the rest is history. Terry happens to come from a "print background" so she knows the value of knowledge when it comes to the print industry. So here is the story on this great order, it is a $10,000.00 DIRECT MAIL campaign for a team of 6 Doctors, a postcard campaign for the year. She provided a brand new design for the postcard, purchased a data list to canvas demographics provided by the client to reach their 6 different offices. Terry knows how to make money selling print! Do you know how I know? She also had another direct mail order for a different client for 200,000 direct mail post cards, sell price over $14,000.00. That is a lot of mail!

Summer is right around the corner, and to celebrate I've come up

ensures that you as a distributor will stay competitive when it
comes to our products, and will often have an advantage over other
distributors who do not receive this flyer.

I have personally selected three of our best-selling, summer-

The no-charge spec sample program has contributed to countless distributors winning orders since we first implemented the policy.

I can't stress how important it is to walk in the door of a meeting with a physical sample of one of our kits with your client's logo already on it.  More often than not, an order is placed when a spec sample is utilized.
