2015 Sales Meeting and Awards Banquet


This year's convention theme is "Relation SHIPS" and what better theme for our convention. We are working hard to plan another awesome experience for all of our sales executives at this years event. We learned from feedback from our sales executives that attended last year as well as feedback from our favorite suppliers. We are planning more opportunity for one-on-one planning and education, as well as one-on-one time with our top suppliers. You really cannot afford to miss this event. It is our one time a year where we can get the whole group together and enjoy the great relationships that we have built and to build new ones. Our family has grown over the past few years, so don't miss this year's convention.

 

You can easily register using the link included below. Note, there has been a category added just for YOU, called "Albrecht Rep", if you select it, you will not be asked to pay the 390.00 registration fee, that is your perk for working with Proforma Albrecht, we pay the registration fees. You can also go directly to the hotel site. You will be happy to know the hotel room rates are lower this year and there is no "resort fees".

 

One of the first questions I always get asked (usually starting in January) is : "When do I book my flights?" You read it here first: I strongly urge you to arrive in Orlando Sunday morning prior to 11:00 am and plan to stay though the Wednesday evening "Farewell" event which will end around 9:00 PM. If you plan to leave before the farewell event, please do not book your flight before 6:00 PM as we will use Wednesday afternoon for some more "Private Albrecht" education or networking events.

 

If you only attend ONE industry event this year, this should be it. We will have well over 95 education sessions and 250 Supplier partners. We have the most diverse group of supplier partners at any industry trade show. You will have the opportunity to learn more about our technology partners, our commercial print and packaging partners, multi media, ad agency as well as our awesome promotional advertising partners.

 

We will be hosting our annual Awards Banquet recognizing our sales and profit leaders as well as special leadership awards for our sales team. We will recognize our top supplier partners and the coveted supplier rep of the year.

 

As we work with Proforma on their agenda, we will have many "private" Albrecht education and networking functions as well. We have reserved more space and more time for YOU.

INSPIRATIONS from Trimark Powered by Leeds!

Just like Spring - all of us need some REBIRTH, some INSPIRATION at times....  You can look to Trimark Powered by Leed's for just that.  Using our now FIVE decoration techniques in innovative ways - we can inspire and refresh your business!!!

In the apparel world today, the "same old, same old" decoration methods and locations can be, well, old. Left chest embroidery, right bicep embroidery ...;

But, it doesn't have to be that way. You can present your customer with fantastic apparel decorated in a simple yet very impactful way, setting yourself apart from the competition.

But you shouldn't misconstrue the notion of simplicity - in this case, a single decoration location - as lacking impact. A sophisticated decorative technique in a single location on a stylish garment can be extremely powerful.

Delivering high impact is what we do each and every day at Trimark Powered by Leed's. We will do simple left chest embroidery, sure.

We do that day in and day out, but we also offer some unique decorating methods and locations that are just as simple - yet can pack much more punch.   Here is a brief rundown of our techniques and their best uses etc...;

Embroidery:  Embroidery is a timeless technique that has a very corporate, elegant and classy look.  Here are some things to consider when working with Embroidery.

1.       Size and level of detail in the logo. Logos with lots of fine detail can be difficult to represent well using embroidery. In addition, logos that are large with a lot of fill can be very "heavy" on the garment.

2.       Fabric of the garment. For a heavy piece of outerwear or a cotton shirt, embroidery typically will represent a logo well. For some of the more performance garments (lighter weight, more drape), embroidery can look heavy even for a relatively small logo.

3.       Shape of the logo. A logo with a long horizontal component can look clunky across a left chest horizontal
placement. A logo that is primarily vertical can look odd on a right bicep.

What are some options? One is True Edge™ Transfer. True Edge Transfer is a new means of heat transfer that provides superior clarity, allows for freestanding text as small as 8-point font and can be done in locations that can't be reached with an embroidery hoop. Utilizing PMS spot color, it's a technique that originated on bags but is finding increased popularity on apparel.

Additionally - you can use True Edge Transfer for impact utilizing a strong use of color. We're finding that many people are using things like metallic transfers. With so much apparel now featuring silver-metallic accents, incorporating that treatment in the decoration demonstrates a fundamental understanding of how to merchandise based on cues from the garment.

There are additional options that we offer at Trimark Powered by Leed's - both for use on synthetic fabrics. One is deboss, a process by which a die is used to imprint the logo on the garment.

There is no change in the color of the garment, but the resulting logo will have dimension. The other is laser, which creates a slightly different color of the garment in a very subtle way. One of the best things about laser is that it can be used almost anywhere - across seams, across zippers and at very large sizes.  

The benefit of both deboss and laser is that they result in a permanent logo that will not wash away.

Lastly, with our new technique INFUSION - the virtually invisible to the touch decoration technique that allows you to pull in imagery and color use that you haven't imagined before.   This technique allows you to really provide inspiration to your customer and at the same time increasing ROI bc this will be your customer's favorite/most comfortable item to wear!!!

There is also the question of location and size. We're finding many customers going with unique locations - such as taking a logo that is very linear and imprinting it vertically along the left chest versus horizontally, or taking a smaller logo and imprinting it on the back yoke.

Aside from that, other potential trends we've noted include the use of distressed art on say, a soft, drapey sweatshirt for an aged look. And multi-media, combining different methods on the same garment, holds the potential for an entirely new realm of creativity.

With many different standard locations and sizes, you can provide customers with unique options that set you apart from your competition. The possibilities are virtually endless!

New Apparel Kits & Power Bank Options from HIT



Attached is some kit pricing for a White T-shirt (Gildan 5000), Water Bottle and Cinch Bag. I think this could be great for Summer camps, College sports camps, Company picnics, Runs/Walks.

Also attached is a great reference flyer that explains all the options regarding Power Banks.  It shows some spec differences on our chargers and the charging ability with current gen tech. Our team has been hard at work putting the tools in our hands and now it's time to make some sales off it.

Finally, here is a flyer I wanted to share with you that highlights a new overseas charger program we've put together.

It really gets the price of these down and dirty if the end user has 15-20 days they can wait.
