Coach's Corner

by Fred Albrecht

March was another monster month. In fact we broke our previous 3 Million dollar record set last May. In March this year we booked over 3.2 Million in sales. Our investment in additional team members both in sales and sales support continues to pay off. Tracy McClure lead the sales charge with over $265,000.00. In fact, for the first month ever, we had two more people break the $200,000.00 month. Cathy Rossner sold more than $211,000.00 and Faye B's Reminders did over $209,000.00. Congratulations to all of our sales leaders for the month of March.

Proforma Albrecht Renews WBENC Certification

I am proud to announce the renewal of our WBENC certification signifying our nationally recognized certification as a woman owned business. Each year, we are required to file for recertification which is normally a 90 day process. This year, we had an added step to the process which included an on sight visit and inspection. I feel the process is vitally important to our business as many of our major clients have a diversity goal to achieve which allows us to be an intricate part of their marketing strategy.

Below is a link to the certificate you may download, print and keep on file. Click the image for the full size pdf.

Rock & Roll!

Terry Schneider landed an awesome order for 522 F260 and F170 Hoodies from San Mar decorated by Two Fish Apparel totaling over $10,000.00. Congratulations to Terry!

Michelle Rockwell closed a great order for 200 PC54 Youth Tees, 1325 Adult District Tees from San Mar, decorated by Arteez in California for an order totaling close to $12,000.00.

Carolyn Milillo worked with a local Ad agency to provide 7208 PC54 Tagless Tees for one of their large retail clients. The Tees were from San Mar and decorated by Everything's Image in Cincinnati. The total project was worth over $24,000.00. Way to go Carolyn!

Steven Sheeks had another awesome order for his utility marking client. It was worth over $9,000.00 for 2160 3931 T shirts from Alpha decorated by Talk of the Town in Akron Ohio.

Charlie Brown's scrap metal client just placed another great order for 164 men's and ladies polos decorated by Everything's image totaling over $6800.00.

John Snodgrass sent in a unique order for a custom magnetic acrylic entrapment for his client, Fleishman Hilliard. As part of the client's new branding effort, they redrafted a 30 year old "ethic credo". In the past it was printed on plain paper and placed on the walls near each employee as a reminder of the firm's dedication to the highest ethical standards. So when John was presented with a challenge, he responded by designing a custom acrylic piece. The ethics credo is printed on 2 sheets of paper and sealed in the acrylic entrapment and discretely adorned with magnets on the 4 inside corners. It serves as a permanent and more formal way to present it to their employees. The job was produced by an overseas vendor Oriendra, Inc of Hong Kong. It netted John an order worth a cool $57,000.00.

Robert Hoelscher had a very nice repeat order for a Cleveland client for 2500 badges and lanyards from ASI 49470 DeVara worth over $10,000.00. Great reorder, Rob!

Chan Williams of Faye B's Reminders will tell you how much he sweats out his "EMC" Season every year. He has to come up with the most creative products for their annual meetings, all within their specific budgets. He tries hard to create a custom product to appeal to their attendees. Here are three of his "wins" for the month.

800 Folding Camp Chairs from The Sourcing Department (Brentwood) ASI 88245 worth over $12,000.00

600 1004 Bamboo Cutting Boards from ASI 79933 Prorose Inc worth over $8700.00

1400 Metal Buckets from Phenix Direct worth over $15,000.00

Jo Puckett, our Power lady from Atlanta sold her power company an order of 100 1789265 Waterman Roller ball pens worth over $5,000.00 from ASI 84833 Sanford. Now that is a first class writing instrument.

Lisa Gilreath had some fun writing an order for her Realty Management client who was providing give aways for the Children's Museum and came up with the idea for 30,000 00458-I Paper Pirate  Hats from ASI 65860 Keupper Favor Company. Who knew Pirate hats could land such "booty" worth over $8,000.00.

More great order stories will be coming in next week's Albrecht Advantage. Remember to give your account executive any information you can similar to the info John Snodgrass shared, it helps everyone learn how products are being used. It will spark ideas for them to use with similar clients or situations. Keep the awesome orders coming and the stories with them!
