GET CHARGED!
|
Our team has been ringing the "Get Charged" fight song more times the last few weeks than every before. Check out some of the "Bell Ringer" orders that have been booked.
Curtis Uejo of Blue Flame Promotional Agency worked his magic with one of Northern California's premiere demolition contractors. He rang up a $7900.00 sale consisting of Nike Golf Shirts from San Mar, M280 Ladies Harrington Harrington Shirts from Alpha and Ladies Drytech WCKO8541 and WCK02289 from Cutter and Buck. His client's employees will be "stylin" for the holidays.
Rick Tapio is smart enough to know that "public bids" for one of his community colleges are no fun and generally mean low margin and then it is
"how low can you go". He worked with our team to figure out how we could "differentiate" ourselves during the bid process. He went the extra mile and worked with our Gemline rep, Cecilia to ensure they could hold 4000 #4837 Cosmo Sport Cinchpacks in apple green for the client. The competitors told the client they could not guarantee inventory. Case closed, Rick walked away with the order for a cool $5744.00.
Tracy McClure met the challenge, her large financial client is revamping the interior offices of the company. She suggested some nice leather coasters from ASI 79384, Preferred Nation. She sold them 550 of the 8245 Set of 4 Coasters and walked away with a $5400.00 sale. Once again, Tracy shows it is not the product or the price, but the right solution for the client's needs.
Stacey Steele was "back to basics" and she is more than happy to provide her client, a global
"professional services company" that provides consulting to companies and organizations to improve performance through effective people management. Guess what, they sell technology too but when it comes down to basics, they still need writing instruments to promote their brand. Yep, 20,000 Bic CSWBVP Wide Body pens worth close to $12,000.00.
Irv Russotto, I call him "Mr. Consistent" as he quietly writes just about $65,000.00 every month, then all of a sudden you see him in the President's club breaking $500,000.00 a year, one order at a time. At least that is what he tells you. When I analyze what Irv is doing, he has figured out how to provide his client's with "uniforms" that become part of their "business" which generates repeat opportunities. Weather was a little "cool" in Tennessee so Irv decided his clients should let their employees sport the J705 Soft Shell Jacket from San Mar, decorated by his "go- to" decorator Digital Graphics in Knoxville. 426 Jackets to be exact worth over $20,000.00.
Bob Aronesty, "smoked" this one for his client a "Portable Vaporizer" manufacturer (Yes Smokeless electronic cigarette company). He is providing them with
branding attire, the 64000 Soft Feel Tee (note he did not offer them the standard Gildan Tee. A total of 2500 mens and 550 ladies shirts, from TSF sportswear decorated by Classic Graphix, an order worth over $14,000.00.
JoAnn and Bill Leonard came through with a nice Holiday Gift order for a cement company. 170 DP2412 Custom Woven Tapestry Throws from ASI 90913 Terry Town. A great order for over $7300.00.
Lynn Nativo landed a great order for a consulting firm that works with their clients to engage their workforce. She found just the right Card Pouch with Lanyard from ASI 49470 for the BH3000 with BH700 Lanyard with safety clip. 750 worth over $5,000.00.
When I look at Lynn's nearly 2 Million in sales, I find much more than one or two large clients.
She has a very diverse group of clients that she continues to grow year after year. She does not "count on" one client or one industry for her business. Her most recent order was for a client that is a "Metal Fabricator", they build chemical plants, shipyards, even the large "Windmills" you see on wind farms. She sold them 61 2 in 1 jackets from ASI 92125 Tri- Mountain worth close to $6,000.00. Building her business one new client at a time!
John Snodgrass has been around and he knows how to steer his clients in the "right direction". He was approached by a local Brewing company to "quote and hope" on a 3D charm that would be hung around the neck of a bottle to promote the retail launch of their new flavor in PLASTIC to save money. John was not afraid to act as a "consultant" and change the specifications to a zinc alloy with the addition of a split ring or a beaded chain. John convinced them by adding more value to the product as the consumer could then use it as a "key ring" so not only would it have the higher quality impact at the point of sale, it would live well on for many years and many thousands of branding impressions as a "key ring". Further, he had the "charm" imbedded into a round coin so that it looked less like a cheap charm. Well his genius creative idea "worked like a charm" and resulted in being awarded the sale for 10,000 custom medallions from MIKE BROTHERS, vendor 10195 totaling $17,805.00. Oh by the way it was such a success, they plan to use this concept for all of their new launches. Once again, John figured out how to become part of the creative process and part of the manufacturing process as well. Good Bye Bid and Good Bye competition! Great story John.
Cathy Rossner finished one of largest months this last November with sales exceeding $126,000.00. She works very hard and provides premium service to her clients, one project at a time. So when she was approached by one of the offices for her "Bio Tech" client for an event at a premier golf club for Team Gifts, she used her creative ability and found just the right wearable, the 25541 Women's Sweater and matching 25526 Men's Sweaters, that sell for $120.00 each for a sale worth over $10,000.00.
Another opportunity came along for a "unique" year end gift and Cathy came up with the Prism Binocular from ASI 89320 Starline. 210 Gifts worth over $8600.00.
