Help US Plan for 2015 Industry Trade Shows. Early next week you will receive a survey asking which industry trade shows you plan to attend in January of 2015. The results of that survey will help us plan for our corporate presence at those shows. Here are a few early dates to plan for.
The ASI Show Orlando * Orange County Convention Center: January 4-6, 2015

MARK ADAMS ENGAGES IN THE MARKETING AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS TO EARN $9,000 SALE Mark Adams, Co-Owner of Proforma Lakeshore Print & Promotions in Frankfort, IL has been a consistent participant in both the Appointment Setting and Sales Automation lead generation programs. The "Phil" direct mail marketing campaign followed by a call from Proforma's Appointment Setting Team, helped Mark get his foot in the door with a steel wire wholesaler with six locations across the U.S.
During the initial meeting, Mark worked to uncover the prospects needs and build a relationship. After looking at several of their marketing pieces, Mark realized the manufacturer of their desk calendar had recently gone out of business. This gave him the opportunity to present new options for their calendars with an updated look. The prospect appreciated Mark's initiative and industry knowledge.
Mark secured the $9,000 calendar order and the client also ordered $500 in stylus pens - the same one they saw Mark using in the first appointment. Mark is currently working on an employee apparel program, 10,000 custom scratch pads and trade show giveaways. The account has the potential to exceed $70,000 annually.

TWEET PETE NOW OPEN FOR OCTOBER CAMPAIGN
Tweet Pete is a NEW program designed to help you convert your social media contacts into actual customers with a direct mail piece that demonstrates your capabilities including promo, print, packaging, fulfillment and creative. Enroll your online prospects into the monthly campaign, which is executed on the first Friday of each month. Timeliness of follow-up phone calls is of the utmost importance so please plan accordingly. Here is a list of best practices for follow-up.
Assign your contacts into the Central Campaign through ProOffice or PROvision by Friday, September 26th.

BRIAN BRIDGES CREATIVE MAILING LEADS TO $30,000 SALE
Brian Bridges, Owner of Proforma Advantage Systems in Janesville, WI, developed a creative mailing to demonstrate his vast marketing capabilities and get his foot in the door with a new prospect. Brian sent an umbrella in tube packaging with a custom cover letter to his auto auction prospect. The umbrella made a great self-promo because it is useful, has a high perceived value and has a strong visual impact in a mailing.
The prospect loved Brian's package and agreed to a meeting. Less than three weeks after the initial meeting, they placed an order for duffel bag coolers to give to their employees at a company event. The order was worth more than $30,000.
