I have to admit, I had no clue about the impact our new "Charged Up" column would have on our office and our sales team. Every day, our account executives have the chance to "Sound The Charge Button" with some awesome orders and just as important the stories behind those orders. Last week, Irv Russotto emailed me and said "This was the best edition of the Albrecht Advantage Ever. Not only were we seeing the sales success, we were able to see the sales being made behind the numbers." He was so right, you will find a few more great orders and great stories along with some real creative talent.
Let's Get Charged Together,

Terry Schneider gets CHARGED!
I have 3 orders in process for my client "BlueStar" - for their annual "Vartech" convention in September - this year it's in New Orleans and has a mardi gras theme.
PO#296582 (Custom fabric/ embroidered shirts) - Sell value: approx. $6300. Client originally wanted a bright colorful multi colored unisex shirt for a mardi gras theme...;
I found a shirt supplier for client where that they could pick custom colors of fabric to basically design their own shirt, that also came in a "men's cut" and "women's cut" of same shirt.... - Client put 3 different embroidered logos,3 locations of shirt...with that said - they didn't end up going with bright or colorful fabric, but none the less - picked the custom fabric colors they liked.
PO#297435 (Full dye sublimation cinch sacks) - Sell value: approx. $10,000.
Client wanted a fully custom printed Cinch sack, I found supplier that does just that - client provided artwork (see attached)
PO#296846 (Light up custom beaded Lanyards) - Sell value: approx. $6200.
Keeping with the Margi gras theme - I proposed a funky, beaded type necklace/lanyard that lights up my clients logo....We would not
have been awarded the order for these had they gone with a traditional "lanyard" - due to "politics" for the lack of a better word..lol..Funky won over traditional this time :-)
*NOTE: I'll be giving Nikki a "print" order for "BlueStars" show guides for this same event, next week - approx. Sell value - $12,000.
These will get printed local by Cobb Printing in Dayton KY...(they did them for me last year as well)
Thanks for the opportunity to share some nice orders.....
Keep in touch.
Terry
More CHARGED Up Reps!
Faye Williams of Faye B's Reminders texted me with the great news, "Get Ready to Hear the Music", I have an order coming from a brand new Multi-Million Dollar account and it is only 10 miles from my house. I always say, most of the sales people in this industry drive by more business every day than they write. I wonder how many times Miss Faye drove past her new customer. By the way, they are the World's Largest supplier of after market parts for outdoor power equipment. She sold them 2500 Mouse Pads, an order worth $21,705.00. Vendor: Counterpoint Specialties ASI 46767.
The counter mats were purchased by a manufacturer for lawn mower blades. They are introducing a brand new blade and they need to get the new logo out to all their Ma and Pop shops that sell their products. The counter mats will be used at the parts counter of the shops, promoting their new blades. They are a national company and their forty salesman will distribute the mats to their customers. I was actually visiting their HR department on a $1.99 cooler and asked for an appointment with their marketing dept. The marketing dept. had been working on the registration of the new blades for over a year and half. I discussed the mat he had used in the past on Wednesday and by Friday noon we were able to close the deal. Thanks to my new friend "Zak" from Counter point, as I am pulling in the parking lot, Zak is schooling me on his Precison molded mat.
Laura Janus - It must be Counterpoint Specialties' week. Laura just wrote a counter mat order for a pump manufacturer, another industry-leading manufacturer in business since 1911. I am sure the full color printed counter mat will do the job. Order for 300 at close to $9,000.00.
Diane Schaffer - Diane has been having some great weeks lately. She earned a great order for backpacks for an Information Systems company, sporting a " Company College" logo. An order worth close to $16,000.00 for 850 All-In-One Backpacks from ASI 46755 "Cosmo Fiber".
Tracy McClure is back again this week with another order for her financial services company for a very creative "Custom Crustacean" (That's a Lobster). Check it out, this has become her client's Mascot and used for trade show giveaways. Yep, the are from "Back East" as they say. An order worth $14,130.00, another great project accomplished with the help of Phenix Direct.
Bob Aronesty, is on the cutting edge as always. His customer is a manufacturer of "Smokeless Tobacco Producuts". He is providing them with some soft feel Gildan Tee's from TSF, decorated by Graphx. A very nice sales of 5000 shirts worth over $18,000.00
Bob Hoelscher - A great repeat order for a world leading Medical Device Manufacturer for some Banner pens used for educational purposes a nice order for over $7,000.00. ASI 38297 "Banner Pen".
Peg Babcock, working with an Ad Agency helped coordinate 20 different art designs for 3 different sized Surfboard magnets, from ASI 68475 Magna Plus, Inc. Over 80,000 Magnets with a sales value of $6,300.00. The end user is a logistics company.
Jeff Grimm came through with a great order and it is for a great cause as well. His customer is using A-4 Performance Shirts for a 5K Stephen Spiller Run honoring First Responders and Military Heroes. Notice, he offered a performance T rather than the run of the mil 50/50 T...It made the order worth close to $6,000.00. Vendor Bodek and Rhodes, decorator Two Fish Apparel.
Our sales leader, Lynn Nativo is back with her Lottery Client with two great orders, one for Chestnut Hill, Eddie Bauer and Anvil Full Zips for a whopping $33,645.00 and a second Bell Ringer with Authentic Pigments from Alphabroder worth over $7500.00.
We hope by sharing this information it will give you some great ideas for your clients, learn about new and great suppliers and give an an idea about the diversity of the industries from financial to manufacturing. From California to Florida to Va. To Ohio.
Congratulations to the reps and their account executives for the hard work that has paid off with these awesome orders and projects. Your customers have entrusted you with their project, their trade shows and their brands. In all cases it was not because you were the low bidder, but because they trusted you and valued your service.
