Please note: This is a resend of Friday's Albrecht Advantage. We had some people tell us there was a problem and we worked with our emailing service to fix the issue that caused some links not to work in the original email. These have been fixed. Please excuse the double mailing, we want to make sure everyone can access the links. Also, if you would like to review any of our past issues, we now have them archived. Coach's Corner

The Big Gift Selling Season is here and this will be the best 4th quarter in recent history. All indications are that promotional spending is on the rise and businesses are working harder than ever to increase their market share. Our industry as a whole misses out on one of the most lucrative parts of the "gift season"... food gifts. We have many resources for you to use to learn more about the market and how to attack it so your current clients don't bypass you and purchase their food gifts direct. I am in no way telling you to offer these items instead of the staple gift products you have always sold, this is EXTRA business. It is in addition to the branded products we have always sold. Our food gifts can be branded and packaged so the recipient remembers who sent them the awesome treats. Check out Maple Ridge Farms and their educational tools. Also, the editor of Advantages magazine is hosting a webinar on food gifts, a great opportunity for you to learn and earn. Scroll below to the whole section dedicated to FOOD GIFTS and get up to date on how you can offer these products to your clients. There are PDFs, catalogs, flyers, videos and webinars in the links below to help you out.
Up Close and Personal/Success Stories - We would love the opportunity to share more of your successes with your peers, we need your help. Just email me a brief story, the order number and how the product was distributed or used. It does not have to be some huge order, just sharing any little ideas will help you all each week. To be featured in up close and personal, all we need is any photo, can be fun and family oriented and a brief interesting story about you and what you like to do. It is easy, just email fred@albrechtco.com

Leigh Anne Schuler a.k.a. Logo Lee Lee
Art Dept Inc.
I have been a graphic designer since the age of 2 when mom and dad left me alone with a box of crayons, and blank walls. My dad was in the printing industry, so they were supportive when I decided to attend VCU and get a degree in communication art & design. I worked as a pasteup artist for years, back in the days when we used cameras the size of a living room to shoot black and white art. Our tool set consisted of t-squares, xacto knifes, rubber cement and amberlith... no computers or internet existed.
I was an art director for a small ad agency for 12 years, and convinced the boss to get a computer back in '86. We were one of the first in town to do "desktop publishing". I decided to go freelance in 1990 and have been doing so ever since. My association with Albrecht & Co began in 2002 when Lynn Nativo (then Moore) left the local company here and went to work with Fred and his group. She was so kind as to pass my name around! I have worked with many of the reps over the years and have built some great relationships that I cherish. I want to thank everyone for your support and hope I can continue to help solve your creative needs. I'm not just vector art & virtuals... I do logo design, brochures, flyers, newsletters... you name it. Visit my website at www.artdeptinc.com. I also have live chat on there if you are in a bind and need me now! Or call 804-739-1198 or Facebook www.facebook.com/artdeptinc. You will find me in Virginia most of the year, but in the Florida Keys in the fall, working out of my RV enjoying paradise for a couple of months. Anywhere I am... I always have the computer. FYI... please make a note, I will be traveling to New York next Weds 8/28 thru Weds 9/4. If you need something in a rush and I don't get back to you right away, PLEASE CALL!Thanks so much

Introducing a New Line of Apparel: Compression Wear |
|
Tommie Copper is the leader in innovative lifestyle compression apparel that is designed to be comfortably and fashionably worn all day long by those looking for supportive relief from aches and pains during sports, work and everyday activities.
Tommie Copper products are designed to be worn by anyone seeking support that can provide relief from daily aches and pains. Everyone from Olympic athletes to grandmothers who like to garden can benefit from the comfortable compression provided by Tommie Copper's compression wear.
"The supportive relief of TOMMIE COPPER compression wear can enhance the performance and productivity of their employees, as it has recently for employees at General Motors, UPS & the Yonkers Fire Department, just to name a few. We recently did a pitch in Nashville for VF Imagewear (the largest uniform manufacturer in the country) whose customers include the TSA, U.S. Customs & Border Patrol, the New York City Fire Department and FedEx, just to name a few. They were very excited at the notion they could add an entirely new category to their uniform portfolio without taking away from their existing lines and thus not effecting their existing inventory whatsoever. They were also excited to hear all of our fabric is made in Chattanooga, TN which makes our company and products NAFTA approved. They are currently pitching to those clients I mentioned and we expect this to lead to several big new accounts."
