July ended with a bang breaking the 1.8 Million mark and posting a whopping 32.5% increase over last July. Our continued growth is a direct result of our existing sales representatives growing their business using many of the tools and programs we have been offering over the last several years. We continue to grow by adding great new sales reps as well, adhering to our philosophy to affiliate with one great person at a time. We are proud of our success which is simply the direct result of the success all of our awesome sales representatives are enjoying by achieving their goals.
This week's Advantage will provide you with some insight on a "renewal program" that Tracy McClure has created and the immediate success she had with a small investment of time and money. You will love the results. In addition, don't overlook this week's video from David Glaser of Magnet, filmed at the Proforma Convention live and in person. Up Close and Personal
Today's feature is an update on the training progress of our Vice President of Corporate Culture, ZOEY. Zoey is working hard to learn all aspects of the business and often sits in on our marketing meetings. In this photo she is very attentively listening to Cory our Business Development Specialist as he expounds on the benefits of using our E-Newsletters to create additional touches with our customers. Zoey is an English Cream Golden Retriever and just turned 8 months old, weighed in at 60 pounds and still growing. She graduated from Puppy Kindergarten and is now half-way through her first "Family Manners" class. Just like all "youngans" she tends to do better in class than in the "real world", but she is an awesome company mascot and Fred's second best friend (Suzie is #1).

Success Stories- Tracy McClure
Tracy McClure will try anything that will help her generate more business, from appointment setting to self promos, she tirelessly and passionately pursues new customers, new contacts and new opportunities. Last month after attending our Sales Meeting, she decided to do a little more marketing to her "Inactive Accounts". While she does not lose many, just like all of us "things happen" and changes are not always good. About 3 years ago her friend and contact from her largest client told her that she had a new boss that had decided they were going to buy only locally. The problem was they were located in Boston and while Tracy had a contract for over 6 years and did the job beautifully, this mandate cost her a $100,000.00 account. So last month Tracy used a printer she met at our May Sales meeting, Navitor. Navitor printed up 250 full color postcards for $60.00, she had a graphic artist create her design for $90.00, she mailed 135 post cards for $60.00 in postage and $7.00 for labels. Total investment $217.00.
The results: Erin her friend from Boston, emailed her and said their "local supplier" was not near the "solutions provider" that Tracy had been for so many years. She needed an "organic" grocery tote and he could not come up with an acceptable solution. In addition, his last shipment of "pens" came in with horrendous looking packaging that embarrassed their management team. "Promoqueen" to the rescue. Within a few minutes, Tracy and her CSR team here located several organic totes and she was able to provide an immediate solution. The client ordered a San Mar Tote produced by Gemline, resulting in an immediate order for $6435.00. Then she placed an order for 500 pens, total $4255.00 and finally, an order of 5000 VEGGIE grocery totes from Leeds totaling over $11,000.00. Total order $21,690.00 and an email from her friendly buyer which is priceless!

So far in less than a week, Tracy reactivated two accounts and has more orders pending. I'd say her ROI on her mailing is "Off The Charts".

Pat Lenehan Shares Some Tips

Pat Lenehan, Proforma Owner Cleveland Ohio - Pat is a great friend and fellow Proforma Owner. He was able to convert a fully inventory laden "uniform program" and wrestle it away from a list of over 20 competitors by offering a different way to do business, on demand production. In fact, we have patterned several of our programs after Pat's model. So it was no wonder we were excited to attend Pat's session at the Proforma Convention titled: "Three Influential Questions to add $3 Million to Your Sales - In his session, Pat discussed the three questions he asked his clients which have directly resulted in at least 3 Million in additional sales. Pat also reviewed the difference between transaction and project selling as well as the perfect tools to use to upsell your products. Pat was kind enough to share his powerpoint so I could share his secrets with you.
