We are excited to invite you to participate in the Brimmer After School Music Program. The program offers students in grades Pre-K-12 the opportunity to take private instrumental and voice lessons on campus.
We require that each student commit to the full academic year. Lessons will begin October 13, 2016, and run through the end of April, 2017. Each child will receive twenty private music lessons, one half hour each.
Registration is open. Please click here to register. If you have an Ultracamp account already, you will use that account to register for music lessons.
* Students in Pre-Kindergarten through First Grade may study piano.
* Students in Grade 2 may study piano or guitar.
* Students in Grades 3-12 may study piano, guitar, percussion, trumpet, trombone, baritone, tuba, oboe, clarinet, flute, and saxophone and take voice lessons.
The fee for the year of 20 music lessons is $640. In addition, each instructor may request reimbursement for music books and materials that they will provide (usually under $20). Financial Aid is available for those families who receive aid from the School. Please indicate your interest in financial aid where asked on the registration site.
Middle and Upper School students should consider sports commitments before they commit to a full year of music lessons.
Extended day is available as an option for students in Pre-K through 5th Grade. For more information about the Extended Day program please contact the director, Laura Foley at lafoley@brimmer.org or 617-566-7462 ext. 435.
New for 2016-17: We are pleased to welcome Thomas Bergeron to the Brimmer Creative Arts Department. Tom will be teaching instrumental music in the Upper and Middle Schools and working with me over the next months to take over the After School Music Program.
Early and returning registrants will be given priority when we begin scheduling in September. Please contact Cassie Abodeely with questions about registration at: camp@brimmer.org.
