With the turn of good weather and sunny afternoons, I have had the opportunity to watch many of our student-athletes compete. I have been particularly impressed with the affirming support of teammates, good sportsmanship, the strength of play, and the determination to win. Other than the obvious benefit of being active and staying fit, the value of being a member of a team is clear. Dedication, strength, endurance, strategic thinking, agility, and tenacity are just a few of the qualities our students demonstrated while I watched from the sidelines.
It is hard to begin the day at 7:45 a.m. and walk off a field or court after 6:00 p.m. only to arrive home and begin homework. The time management skills needed for our students to do all that is being asked of them is tremendous. I salute and cheer our students for their efforts and commitment. If you have not been out to see a game or match, I hope you will. The links to each sport are listed below and unless we have a rainy day, the schedule should remain steady for another week or two.

Dear Lower School Families,
Last night's Band/Chorus Concert was fantastic! It always amazes me to see the progress that is made over the year, especially regarding the Third Grade Band! First-grade families are in for a treat on Monday, May 16--it's time for the annual Crepe Party!
Early Heads Up: On Friday, June 3, each grade in the Lower School will participate in Move-Up Day. Move-Up Day is an opportunity for your children to meet next year's teachers, to tour the classrooms, to ask questions, and to have a snack. If you have any questions about the day, feel free to call us.
