Last night's opening of the Upper School play The Universal Language and Other Comedies showcased the talent of our student actors in grades 9-12. Complicated lines, comedic timing, playful attitudes, and teamwork created a night full of laughter and fun. The play will run again tonight and Saturday, so if you are looking for sophisticated entertainment, you will find it to be a real treat.
I wish to thank the Parents' Association for sponsoring Ms. Lahey on Thursday. Ms. Lahey's well-researched work and life experience provided a platform for intelligent advice and helpful suggestions that we can all use while raising our children. A summary of her work is available here and video highlights will be available on our website for those who could not attend.
I wish you all a wonderful weekend with your children.
Sincerely,
Judith Guild
Head of School

Dear Lower School Families,
Today is "Dirt Day" in the Lower School! No, we are not filming a Tide commercial, but you may need to use some later on. Lower School Buddy Groups planted bulbs in pots, and we should see the fruits of their labor this spring. After the students finished planting their bulbs, we went into the theatre for a dramatic reading of Dr. Seuss' The Lorax! The whole Brimmer community will benefit from this wonderful project! (Watch the creative Dirt Day preview video!)
Here's an update on "Operation Gratitude:" Ms. McGillicuddy's pet project netted 97 pounds of candy for the troops. That is more than double what we collected last year.
Important date change: The grade two meeting with Ms. Wareham and I regarding math will be Friday, December 4, and the grade three meeting with Mr. Stattel and me regarding science will be Friday, December 11. Thank you for your flexibility.
Sincerely,
Thomas A. Fuller
