1.) GLBTIQ History: Lesson Plans for September

Welcome back to school! A few of years ago, we began offering teachers historical events of note month-by-month along with hero and role model suggestions to enrich your curriculum. The objective is to help you include a little LGBTIQ2 studies in your work EVERY month rather than isolating it in Gay Pride Month (June) or GLBT History Month (October). 2.) Register for "Mix It Up at Lunch Day" today! 
On October 29, 2013, thousands of schools will participate in the campaign, Mix It Up at Lunch Day, launched by Teaching Tolerance a decade ago. Mix It Up at Lunch Day encourages students to identify, question and cross social boundaries.  If you would like to find out more about this event, or if your school is interested in participating, click on the link below.
