Oklahoma Senate Bill 1096, the "20 percent x 2020 Oklahoma facilities energy program," is the state's plan of action to reduce energy consumption. The specific goal for this program is to reduce 2012 energy consumption by 20 percent, in state facilities, by fiscal year 2020. This program is projected to save the state $150 million during the next six years while it is in action.
