Growing Concern over

              ROAD SALT IN OUR WELLS

Does your water taste salty ?  Do you have spots on glasses; film or deposits on tiles and faucets ?  Wondering why your Water Softener is not removing the mineral deposits ?

Water Doctor has detected high chlorides and high total dissolved solids in our area wells.  The levels of Calcium- Chloride (i.e. Road Salt) are increasing in wells in the past 10 years.  Normal chloride levels are 0-30 ppm; however we are finding levels of 150 to 400 ppm.  We are now charting these levels to track the changes and advise our customers on solutions.

If you suspect you have Chloride intrusion, please contact our office or talk to your service technician.  Testing can be done to confirm and suggestions made to address the issue.
