SALT FREE CONDITIONERS

Last month we discussed a few basics of "salt free conditioners" and examined the claims of these technologies. Some of these units prevent scale within plumbing; but their effectiveness at reducing mineral deposits is still sketchy. These products can be magnetic, cathodic and electromagnetic devices. Products which have passed the DVGW W512 testing (a German performance standard which tests the effectiveness of these descaling units) are more appealing.
