GOT SPOTS ??
Homeowners across the nation are clamoring about spots on dishes.  Whether you have public water or well water; hard water or soft water - no one is immune. Some consumers have purchased a new dishwasher; but the problem still remained. What gives ??
In 2010, laws went into effect for 17 states requiring detergent & soap manufacturers to eliminate Phosphates in their products. Phosphates had been used in detergents to suspend minerals in water - preventing spotting on dishes. Unfortunately, they also end up on lakes & reservoirs; stimulating algae growth that deprives fish and other plants of oxygen. Whats good for mother earth may not be so good for our dishes. The result is a 50% increase in dishwasher-related complaints according to APSCO Appliance Centers. Sales of the rinse agent "LemiShine" have doubled according to the manufacturer.
