PREVENT WATER PROBLEMS BEFORE THEY OCCUR
TIPS ON LOWERING SERVICE COSTS
Over 50% of troubleshooting calls can be eliminated with these simple steps:
Reset your timers after a power outage of 1-2 hours. When the units backwash during the day, low pressure, staining and objectionable taste may occur. All clocks should be set for the current time of day. Be sure the unit is plugged into the outlet.
Be sure your bypass valve is closed; inlet & outlet is open
If you have a Water Softener, keep your salt bin near full. You will likely need to add salt between your service visit; crystal solar salt is sold at hardware stores. A low or empty salt bin can lead to staining, discolored water or premature fouling of the resin.
IN AN EMERGENCY: Know how to bypass your treatment system. Call for instructions or have the technician show you how. |
