2013 ECONOMIC IMPACT FOR THE EAST KENTUCKY SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER
During the FY 2013, the Ashland, Morehead, Pikeville and Paintsville Centers of the Kentucky Small Business Development Center, contributed to the following economic impact of small businesses:
- 292 clients counseled
- 47 new businesses were created
- 138 jobs created
- 55 jobs retained
- 38 training events with 702 attendees
The centers assisted clients in receiving 39 loans totaling $5,764,175 with 38 owners investing $1,201,750
