It's a great time to get the fall plants into the garden beds: lettuce, radishes, flowers. So many choices! Come garden with us, and be ready to plant your fall crops at home. Sponsored by the Master Gardeners and Kent Island Garden Club.

Sensory Mother Goose on the Loose Friday, October 16 at 11:00 a.m. For babies to age 5 with an adult Thirty-minute interactive, multi-sensory nursery rhyme program for young children and their families. There will be time for Questions and answers at the end of the lecture. Participants may bring 1 object to receive a brief consultation. Vicki specializes in books and papers. Book Discussion Group - The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown Thursday, September 24 at 7:00 p.m. This non-fiction book is about the University of Washington 8-oared crew which represented the United States in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin and narrowly beat out Italy and Germany to win the Gold Metal.
