What Staff are Reading
|
Kim just finished...
Bloody Point 1976 by Brent Lewis
Where were you for the Bicentennial weekend July 4th, 1976? Tooey Walter, a young waterman, did not expect to be tracking rich, spoiled, Dee Bradnox through the seedy and dangerous Baltimore Block. The author takes readers back to a time of mood rings, clackers, and AMC gremlins as Tooey navigates through a cast of mostly alarming (and one very charming) characters to reunite his former classmate with her estranged family. This book will have you smiling and leave you stunned. A wonderful coming of age story.
Other staff are reading...I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson Our Souls at Night by Kent Haruf The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty The Sin Eater's Daughter by Melinda Salisbury One Summer: America, 1927 by Bill Bryson The Monuments Men: Allied Heroes, Nazi Thieves, and the Greatest Treasure Hunt in History by Robert M.
