How about discussing that book with new friends during happy hour on in the lounge at Annie's?
Join in on the fun of this new book discussion group which will meet the 4th Tuesday of the month beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Annie's Paramount Steak and Seafood House in Grasonville.

This 3-4 hour training program is for potential teenage babysitters. The BLAST! (Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training) program provides training in pediatric first aid, household safety, and the fundamentals of childcare. In addition, this course helps prepare children to interview for a babysitting job, select safe and suitable games and activities, prevent accidents, perform first aid and CPR, and begin babysitting safely and competently. Topics covered include: feeding, burping a baby,
spoon-feeding, crying, and preparing for bed, behavioral problems, and discipline. This is a fun class, with baby manikins to diaper and feed! Pocket guidebooks will be included and you will be awarded a certificate of completion.

 Disaster Preparedness and Recovery: Where I've Been and What I've Learned

Vicki Lee, Director of Conservation and Preservation at the Maryland State Archives, will be sharing insights from some of her in-house, national and international archival rescue missions. She will also touch upon some preparation measures and ways of thinking that can mitigate damage and loss in our own emergencies at home.
